His earlier stint was with Orient Electric as the Head Brand and Corporate Communications for more than seven years. He was responsible for "Orient Electric" brand re-launch and unifying the businesses of Fans, Home Appliances and Lighting under one umbrella brand.
Prior to that, Chakravarty worked with Kaefer as the Head Corporate Communication - Asia and Australia region for almost seven years.
In the past, he has also been the Head of Corporate Communication at Jindal Stainless Limited and DS Group.
He started his career with Sahara Group as Manager Brand/ Corporate Communication in the year 1998.
